Born From A Boombox

Today was real fun!:)

After our reporting in Literature, which is really boring mind you but mind boogling at the same time, we had plans to watch Step Up 3 with my college chummies. Unfortunately some of our very dear friends are kinda talkshit today so only 3 of us watch the movie.
Mari,Dhainey and me:) as always.:)

So we went to The Block after class, we watch the 5:20 show and Oh my God! Rick Malambri your a statue in your own way:)) Super perfect abs, super hot.wheew!
The movie was awesome!as in super Legen wait for it daryyyyyyyyyyy:)
from the beginning till the end it was really good:) no dull and boring moments, maybe because Rick Malambri a.k.a. Luke was so hot in all his scenes. He's a good dancer also. And MOOSE!!!!ahahaha.he's so amazing doing his robot dance and awesome engineering skills with the light thingy!:))( he's studying engineering on NYU in the movie;)) To bad we didn't watch it on 3D because we thought it won't be that good but hey we plan on watching it again on IMAX lol!:)) addictive much really:)

So I'll see you soon Luke!:) can't wait:) ahahahahahaha

after watching I had sandwich at Starbucks in Sky Garden and they had coffee. I'm so sick with coffee I guess:) or im so insomiac that I don't need it anymore:))) ahahahaha kidding i still love my caramel macchiato but for now maybe Ineed a break from it:) so no coffee for atleast a month, I hope so:))

Better three hours too soon than a minute too late.

Better three hours too soon than a minute too late.

by William Shakespeare
Its my rest day today and all I had to do was pick up the survey forms we need at Metrowalk and watch a movie with a friend and to have a few drinks but he's a bumbay (means inindian nya ako for the nth time:)) actually its both our fault because were waiting for each other's text so we thought to re-sked next Monday:)

So after doing my report for tomorrow oh I mean later for my Literature class I was searching for quotable quote from the infamous William Shakespeare. I've always wanted to read even one of his novels but i'm hesitating because his words and the way he write its so complicated. But I love his novels when they are simplified for us idiots whose not good in poetry. don't get me wrong I love poetry its just that its kinda hard keeping up with what Shakespeare has to say:) or should I say how he write it.

Going back to the Quote better 3 hours early than a minute to late.--------- I just realize something when I read the quote. Its so hard to regret things when you know you can't take it back, when you know its too late to change it.
Well we all have our own regrets but we learn from it and from that we somehow grow. Grow in a way that we won't make that same mistake again.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I have regrets but I can't take it back. I just have to live with it.
Being 3 hours early for me means when you had a chance to change or solve the damage that you've cause and a minute to late is when you can't take back what you've done and everything is gone.

Well reflecting on these things makes me a better person I guess we all just have to face the fact that nothing is perfect and we all make mistakes, but we also have the power to right what is wrong. To change it.We just have to believe that we can make it.:)

Someone.Someday.

My friend tag me in this link where in another bloggista post the letter of her daughter to someone she wanted to meet in the future. To someone she's willing to wait for the rest of her life..:)) okay that's a little exaggerated but I know I can wait that long for someone who will treat me right and who will love me for me and unconditionally. Someone to take me seriously and won't let me go. Someone I can spend my life with and build a family with. Someone I can grow old with. Someone.Someday.

So here's the letter:))

Letter

Dear You,

I will admit that sometimes I really do wonder if you exist.

There is a part of every little girl’s heart that envisions her prince charming. At age three, it is usually of a man who can save her from the wrath of an evil stepmother, wake her from eternal slumber or give her that true love’s kiss.

In elementary school, he becomes the boy with the least cooties, the one who’s willing to cross the playground to share his Oreos even if it makes him a target for the week of all the other boys.

Come high school, it’s that boy you stand with at prom, who your father stared down at the door, who provided you with an experience complete with photos you will cringe at a decade later, a corsage that yellows in the refrigerator, and a faded memory of a night that seemed almost too magical to be real.

Nineteen years into this life, however, and still unwilling to give my heart away, I am still that same little girl who hopes for her prince charming. And although I wonder why it has taken you this long to sweep me off my feet and whisk me off to your palace on horseback, I know that it is probably because meeting you will be better than any fairytale I could’ve read as a kid.

A couple of heartbreaks and a few years wiser though, I will admit that there are times when I question your existence. Because I have yet to meet the guy who makes me hear songs like “All My Life” or “A Whole New World” in my head when I see him does not mean I don’t hope that it’ll ever happen.

I may already know you or may still meet you someday—something I leave completely up to God because I’m pretty sure our story will be epic.

However, I can’t promise you that I’d make the world’s most perfect princess. In fact I’ll probably keep you on your toes and amuse you with my eccentricities—there are a lot of them. I’ll probably steal a bunch of your T-shirts and turn them into shirt dresses, or drive you slightly mad with my obsessive compulsivity and my need to fix your collar constantly.

I can promise to be your best friend however—that person you can rant to after a rough day, the hand you can hold when you get sad, or the person you can text when situations get awkward.

I’ll probably mess up your hair sometimes and hug you for too long, but that’ll only be because I absolutely adore you. I’ll bury my head in your shoulder during scary movies and make you feel like superman when you kill those flying cockroaches that really shouldn’t exist. I’ll cook your favorite food on your birthday and try my best to make friends with your mom.

I’ll respect your nights-out with the boys and make you seem like the perfect guy to my barkada. I’ll watch basketball or soccer games with you, and not complain when you cheer too loudly at the TV set.

I’ll know the difference between giving you space and being constantly there for you—even if it means sitting and playing video games with you or taking hot chocolate runs when it rains.

I’ll listen to your music and we’ll go on epic adventures together—seeing the world, taking awesome pictures, eating awesome food, and never running out of things to tell each other along the way.

I won’t be waiting for you to sweep me off my feet and take me on a magic carpet ride, because I know I won’t need anything like that to fall for you—I will love you for you.

You will be that someone to make goofy faces with in pictures, to lace fingers with when I’m lonely, and to take long walks under the stars with on the beach.

You’ll be the guy who takes me the way I am—and will laugh as I burst into Disney song or pick out pink wallpaper.

You’ll be that someone I envision a future with—us filling out visa forms as we travel the universe, picking out our first dog together and arguing about what to name it, or being snap-happy stage parents in our preschooler’s annual mini-plays. And I keep hoping that maybe someday when we find each other, you will become that someone whose smile I wake up to in the morning and the last one I speak to every night.

So to the man I know does exist, and who will help me maybe make sense of the world someday, this man I can’t wait to love. Please know that I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. But for now, I wait. Fingers crossed and palms held together, I hope that you’re out there somewhere, waiting for me, too.

With the hope I will be yours for always,

Me

Knock Knock Day!

A very tiring day but a good one.
Because of our feasibility study we had to find a good location for our bar and bistro business and we chose Metrowalk. Lots of people go there mostly our target market but enough of our feasib.( I'm so sick of it already!!) I'm blogging about my day today. It was so much fun.stressful.hagard moments.crazy moments.etc. ahahahaha. So let me start it by saying...............

I'm LATE!:))
Our meeting time is 9:00 am sharp. I was the one who set that because I'm the leader of our feasib. My group mates are my barkada so were actually having fun while doing our jobs but its kinda heavy on the pocket if you know what I mean:))))Its super magastos!dang!
So I got on our meeting place at around 9 10. Imagine? 10 minutes late and my groupmates were hysterical.ahahahaha.specially Rap. He always bully me. Bad guy.Super bad guy.:) Still he's one of my bestest guy friend in college. So forgive and forget.:)) On our way to Metrowalk, it was kinda good because my Bebe Girl is kinda talkative telling me stories about "he who shall not be named" maybe in time I can name him. just wait and see.ahahahahah:))) The way she tell me those stories with kilig factors pa:)) We also talked about other stuffs and make chismis about other people like we always do ahahahaha so we didn't notice that were in Metrowalk already. When we got there we had the chance to talk to the General Manager of Metro Walk. He's kinda nice.:) Quite old though:) hehehehe. So after having lunch at Bacolod Chicken Inasal which is by the way Mari is a server there. just joking!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)))) we took pictures of the location and ourselves and the location and other stuffs and we ended up talking about our plan in Starbucks. While having coffee, I was browsing my planner and I saw the WOFEX shedule. wooah!

WOFEX is World Food Expo which is held at the World Trade Center and SMX from Aug 4 to 7, 2010. I was really planning on going there even though its not a requirement for our course, I just saw it in the Entrepreneur magazine which I'm becoming addicted to right now. I knew it was gonna be nice and many will be participating. Day 1 of the event is today and I told my groupmates that it might help us for our menu and machineries and equipment and the things that we need for our feasib. We can look for suppliers and the likes there. So we decided to go there. But not all of us went there. Actually there were only 3 of us.:))) My Bebe Girl- Mari and Dan and me ofcourse.

When we got to MOA it was raining hard. We head immediately to SMX because the Expo will end at around 700pm and when we got there it was already 5 pm so we had only 2 hours to look around and taste some awesome foods:))actually I really want to go there for the free taste:)))))lol.
There were lots of culinary schools participating there like Enderun,CCA, CSB and other CA schools. There were cooking competitions and demos and they were amazing. The food taste so good. They had a cake making contest I think and the cakes we amazing.LEGENDARY!!! It looks really good but we didn't get to taste it.SAD. I saw my good friend who is a cheffy.( thats what I call her) Paola. Her school was participating (Enderun) and she was supporting their team:) good job cheffy:))

After our escapades in SMX we went back to the mall to do our routine. WINDOW SHOPPING! While eating DQ:)) We got bored so we went to San Miguel by the Bay. Took lots of pictures and the most exciting part was we did the floating balloon thing. ahahahaha. We look like hamsters, running inside an inflated balloon in the water. Super laughtrip. We can't hear our voices but the people around us were laughing because of us.Nakakahiya in a way pero super fun.:)))) and super init inside kala ko masusoffocate na ko.:p We love it pa din:) After that we just chill and kept on saying knock knock to each other wala naman knock knock, addict mode lang.Or let just say addict talga ko.:) Then we said were gonna name our album knock knock day sa super crazy namin that time ahahaha:)) then went home.hmmmmmmmmmmmmm? We went home.?:)) Okay I'll keep my mouth shut na lang:))till next time.

I hope you enjoy this day as much as I did:))) cheers:)

Menu List turn in to something more:))

Last week I had a chance to see my two amazing friends from highschool. Paola Legaspi my ever reliable cheffy friend and my bitchiest friend Sandra Ilano.

Well that meet up was really about Paola helping me do our menu list for our feasibility study, so we meet at Gateway because we have to meet halfway, she's from the south and i'm coming from the Metro. (Is that half way? I'm not sure:)) Well anyway, we had our usual late lunch and while eating she interviewed me about what's happening with me. I haven't seen her in a while so I make chika.:) Well whatever that chika is, I was happy to share it with her because she's always straight forward when it comes to giving advice and sometimes very brutal about it.:)))) But I love her. You know that:p

After my long chika about myself, we talked about our MENU LIST.Gawd why do we have to do that its so complex.(It looks easy but really it's not.hmpf!! ) While debating for our menu Sandra came out of nowhere.hahahaha.She's still in her uniform because she cut class but she told us she has no professor, as if we believe her.ahahahaha.joke.:) Then Paola and I stop doing my menu list just to listen to Sandra's out of this world kwentos about her ex and her manliligaw and we went to Starbucks to have a good place to chat and we had coffee. Her manliligaw is so sweet and I think I'm gonna like him if I meet him but her ex damn it. Sobrang laughtrip lahat! I knew his ex and I thought he's a good guy and a very "GALANTE" one, but gosh nahiya ako sa kanya huh. ahahahaha. Well, I'm not saying that guys should always give gifts and treat a girl out but even once?Even when you make ligaw you should somehow treat a girl right?. Its in the rule book baby.:)) Well, true love is blind and she was blinded by it.:) Well at least now she knows and learned from it right dear?:p

After lots and lots of kwento and tawanan blues. We had to go home. But it was a good day. I know so.:))cheers!

A day with my GIRLS:)

Okay I thought this day would be REAL boring because its a Monday and everyone is TAMAD on Monday's.:)) except for the fact that my International Studies is always as in always challenging and exciting:) Thanks to our ever dearest Sir Bob your the best.:)But something good happened. ahahaha.. after a long long time me and my original girls had the chance to eat and talk for a while after our class. Well you have to know my girls, who they are and how crazy they are.:)) So let me give you some background:)

Abryanne Baello. We call her Aby. She's the "ate" of the group well obviously because she's the oldest:)) But don't get me wrong she can be quite childish sometimes because of her out of this world hirits:)) out of the blue hirits is her specialty and I love her for that:) She can be quiet at times or most of the time(ahahaha) but she is a dependable friend. We know that we can always count on her. She gives advices that will make you realize things ,big things. Maybe because she's old and have many experiences but hey she's cool:))love her so much:)

Aldaine Serrano. If Aby is our 'Ate" then Dainey is our "baby" because she is the youngest, but I looked younger than her( because Im petite obviously). Dainey can be scary sometimes because she can be quite bossy and superior. ahahaha Just kidding but seriously Dainey is the sweetest girl. She acts mature than her age, because take note she's just 18 and we are turning 20 damn it!:| but she's crazy when it comes to earrings ahahaha..Its her fetish:)) Dainey is the person who laughs at my joke even though there corny, and gosh how they hate my corny jokes. I can always count on her in that part.:p She's always there favorite part.:)) We are both impulsive in buying things but we don't admit it but Dainey, c'mon, sometimes we have to. Its in our nature.:)) All in all she's like our mom/ate/baby/crazy person/blah blah blah..super fun to be with and outgoing. That's our Aldaine.:)

Marijoyce Custodio. My "Bebe Girl" she is my super loving bestest friend. She is a one of a kind . She's always been there for me through all the good times and bad times of my college life. And all of them,( Aby,Aldaine and Marie)She has a super duper loud mega voice..ahahahahaha.. She's always teased by our guy friends but its okay with her, she's used to it.Mari and I are super close friends like I can't go to any place without her were like twins already.:) Mari is sometimes moody. When she's not in the mood she won't really talk to you. Know why she's moody? She's always sleepyyyyy ahahahahaha.Specially nowadays.hmmmmmmmmmmm?why is that my friend? any particular reason?:))

Marie Zabeth Dela Cruz. "MIKAY" is the name. ahahaha. my other bitchy half.My soul mate when it comes to being a bitch. She is the girl with the "nakakaloka" laughter. you can't help but laugh at her laugh. ahahaha.doesn't make sense right?:)or it does.ahahahaha:) Well Mikay is a heartthrob. ahahaha From the manager of Mcdo to the manager in KFC to basketball players from every university, name it.She can have it.(lol, long hair bitch) But she's a softy also. She falls too fast and gets hurt too bad. But we are always here for her so she has nothing to worry about.:) Mikay is the secretary of our Tourism Society so she's been busy but whenever we have time to talk and eat and laugh and drink she's always there like what happened today.:)

So today we had lunch(4. 30 pm) at KFC and had loads of fun. Sharing secrets, love stories, love stories of other people ahahaha.(chismis much), Adik moments and the likes. I really miss them. Its the first time we had a talk and my girls are complete.
Next time we go partying again.:) THAT is more exciting than this:)
